Numerical Approach to Optimize the Dynamic Behaviour of Structures Considering Structural Durability

In the design of lightweight structures, both dynamics and durability must be taken into account. this paper, a methodology for combined optimization structural dynamics, design, lifetime with discrete vibration engineering measures is developed discussed using demonstration structure. A two-sided welded bending beam excited at centre optimal parameters tuned mass dampers (TMD) are searched, satisfying requirements dynamic behaviour, overall mass, weldings. It shown that combination reduced order model implementation stress approach critical welds enables an efficient evaluation certain concepts in time domain. Using approach, multi-criterial methods used to identify best set TMD reduce vibrations enhance durability.
